Back to Reality

This week marked the end of an awesome vacation. (cue the tears)
Go here for image.

Why was it awesome? Because I spent it writing, relaxing, and basically doing exactly what I wanted. Today, however, school was back in session and the trophy orders are once again coming in by the ton. This is good, of course. This company does pay the bills, but I still can't help but long for those 2 weeks of blissful writing for hours.

Over the break, I also got to *gasp* go to the movies and watch Les Miserables. Have you seen it? Holy Mayonnaise  that movie was incredible! How heart breaking that battle. Did Marius' friend, the rebel leader Enjolras(actor Aaron Tveit), remind anyone else of Jackson Rathbone? I think it might be the jaw. *shrug*

I hope you are handling the end of the Christmas break better than I am. Have  you seen Les Mis? Am I delusional in thinking Aaron Tveit looks a little like Jackson Rathbone?

  1. I got back into the groove last week.
Haven't seen the movie, but I have seen the original stage production in London many years ago.

  2. We could have had the same break, except that I stayed home sick today (thought it was pink eye ... it was just a weepy eye) anyway, I curled up in the recliner and wrote, wrote, wrote. It was fabulous.

  3. Hey,

Haven't seen Les Mis, but I think I shall - I've heard a lot of good things :)

PS... did you know there is a radio station named after you here in HI ?

  4. I'm very sad my break is over as well because it means back to the hunt and I'm no longer with my family back in Oklahoma!

I'm hoping we go see Les Mis for date night soon; my family all rave about it! We went to see The Hobbit while I was home, which was wonderful, but Nate was a little disappointed. He never read the book, nor understood that it was written for children. It is definitely not about war like LOTR!

P.S. How do you get the "What I'm Reading Now" on the side of your page?

  5. Saw it. Loved it. Cried a whole day over it.
On the other note, I'm having some serious envy over you vaction. Sounds like heaven.

  6. You mean Les Mis is worthy of a "Holy Mayonnaise?" Dang. I better get myself over to the theater before it's too late. Glad you had an awesome vacation. Welcome back! :)
