Cover Reveal, Blogfest and Bloghop...Whew!

I announced last summer that I was asked to write as a contributing author for the Shine miniseries by William Bernhardt. You've seen the promotions for the first novellas released in the series as you've followed me the last 6 months.

Today, I'm thrilled to announce that my Shine story, Shine 7: Lost Haven will be published on Amazon as an e-book in April 2014.
Coming April 2014
Please check out Shine 1-5 on Amazon and stay tuned for more news on my upcoming contribution!

I'm participating in the Moonless Book Release Blogfest celebrating Crystal Collier's paperback release of her novel, Moonless.

What I have to do: If you lived in a society where arranged marriages were a la mode, who would you beg your parents to set you up with? (Literary characters and celebrities welcome) Who and why?

Hmmm, well, I'm honestly not into the arranged marriage thing. I love the man I picked very much. So I'm going to pretend that I'm 18 again, many years before I ever met my wonderful husband, and my parents are seriously looking at who to choose for my arranged marriage. If I could steer them in any direction, I'd have asked them to look at 2 options:

Option 1: celebrity: Leonardo DiCaprio, because he captured my heart in Titanic, then ran away with it in Catch Me If You Can.

Option 2: literary: Dragos Cuelebre from Thea Harrison's Dragon Bound because, helloo fantasy author here, and he's a dragon shifter. A smokin' hot dragon wyr whose loyalty is unbreakable once he's decided to make you his.

I have my theme set and about a third of my posts for the 2014 A to Z Challenge ready to go. I'm excited to participate this year. I can't wait to reveal my theme. My theme for 2012 was much more difficult and I felt serious stress during the whole ordeal, but this year's theme is so much more fun and I can't wait to share it.

Are you participating in the Moonless Blogfest or the 2014 A to Z Challenge? Have you read the first Shine novellas by William Bernhardt? If not, I hope you'll consider checking them out. Don't forget to leave a review on Amazon to let everyone know what you think!

  1. Sabrina--I'd totally go for a dragon shifter too. =) Of course, I married the master of the universe...except he allows other people to think they're in charge. Less carnage that way. Wait, did I type that out loud? ... Forget everything you just read. =)

  2. Congratulations on your contribution to Shine.
I have my theme and it just might be more ambitious than last year's Challenge...

    1. I'm all for the non-ambitious theme this time. The last one was way too much.

  3. Good choices. I suggest you stick with #2 because #1 is bound to break your heart at one point or another (I mean dying or getting jailed isn't really helping a relationship, right?).

  4. A dragon shifter sounds pretty cool, and Leonardo gets better looking all the time.

    1. I would definitely suggest a theme if you decide to do it. Oh, and do at least have the posts before hand!

    1. I like the lean ones. I feel like the super-muscled ones are just going to be fatties when they get a little older and stop pumping the iron.

  8. I just put the Dragon book on my TBR list. Thanks for the scoop!

  9. HI, Sabrina,

Very cool to pick a dragon shifter... Now that's original!

Congrats on your theme. Looking forward to seeing what you chose.

My theme was hairy last year too and I am actually thinking of a repeat because it helped so many of my blogger pals... So if I have the time I may do a repeat...

  10. Leonardo is an excellent choice! I had the biggest crush on him when he was on Growing Pains. :D

    1. I haven't seen Growing Pains and didn't know he was in it. I prefer books to tv, so this isn't a surprise, but I may watch an episode to see who he played in it.

  11. Yes, I could see Leonardo. But dang if that Dragon fellow isn't appealing too.

Can't say about your husband though. Just have to take your word he's totally awesome.

    1. This is why I couldn't just go with one choice. I like options anyway. Yes, the hub is amazing. I wouldn't trade him for either to the options.
