The Great & Powerful A to Z Theme Reveal

Image
Today is the 2014 A to Z Challenge Theme reveal. I chose my theme way back in January and have been determinedly working on my posts since. I'm so excited to reveal my theme. Without further ado: In honor of the genre in which I write, I'll be highlighting a favorite fantasy character. My hope is that those unfamiliar with the genre will be intrigued enough to give it a try. I often hear, "I'm not into that fake stuff. I prefer reading material based on real life." Well let me tell you friends, fantasy may have made up worlds with made up characters that don't exist in real life, but the themes are very real. These characters struggle with very real emotion, political situations, and identity. So I hope you're intrigued and will come back to check out a few of my posts on this theme. Thanks for stopping by! And don't forget to check out my debut novel! Shine 7: Lost Haven , my first ever published work is available on Amazon. If you

The daughter of one of the wealthiest men in Montgomery, Alexandra lives a life not by her own accord, but a life she willingly accepts for her secret quest to save the lives of slaves. Her ultimate sacrifice is to marry the town's most eligible bachelor, Thomas Ludlow—who has deadly secrets of his own. One afternoon, Alexandra comes face to face w

I'm working on the sequel to my newly published novel Lost Haven, so I've read quite a few dystopian fantasy novels. I'm also working on a Paranormal romance. If you have any good books in either of these genres, I'd love to hear them. I love anything Fantasy(epic, dystopian, dark, steampunk, etc), Paranormal romance, Regency Romance, Steampunk, Thrillers, and some YA. So if you've read a good book lately, please share it with me in the comments. Here's some of what I've read recently, that I loved.  Nefertiti's Heart by A.W. Exley This is a Steam punk romance.I loved the steam punk feel, the kick ass female MC, and the mysteriousness of the male MC. I also loved the added mystery of the female MC's hunt for her father's hidden treasure and that th
