K  is for Krishna Hindu God He is the 8th incarnation of Vishnu According to legend Krishna was not only divine, but heroic as well. He is alleged to have defeated numerous dragons and monsters, and eventually as predicted, killed his half-uncle the tyrannical king Kamsa. ~Sabrina A. C is for Cybele

C  is for Cybele Anatolian Mother Goddess She is Phrygia's only known goddess and was probably it's state deity. Her Phrygian cult was adopted by Greek colonists of Asia Minor and brought to the mainland Greece. Funny 'C' Fact I call my cat, Midnight, a dog-cat. He loves to play fetch, begs for food, and to be around his humans ALL the time. We love him so much. His unique personality fits right into our family. He's so big that when he and my 9 year old son lie next to each other, they're almost the same length. B is for Brigid

B  is for Brigid Goddess of Fire, Fertility, Wisdom, Healing and Poetry Daughter of the giant, Dagda Patron of Smiths Fed the milk of a sacred cow at infancy, Brigid is one of the greater mother goddesses of Celtic mythology. She is a kind and nurturing goddess with aspects that revolve around fire. Funny 'B' Fact My nickname is Bree. Growing up, when I would get in trouble, instead of calling out my entire name...Sabrina Ann, my mom combined my nickname with my middle name instead and would yell out BREANNA. *shudders* To this day, I absolutely hate the name. :) Join me the entire month of April as I ride the crazy train that is the A to Z Blog Challenge .

A is for Athena  Greek Goddess of Widsom, Warcraft, and Arts & Crafts Daughter of Zeus Patron of Athens. Who better than one of the most iconic of all the Greek goddesses to start off our month of deities?! Athena is a model representation of the Greeks' gifts to Western Culture. She was one of the most important gods to the ancient Greeks. Funny 'A' Fact The very first brand spankin' new car I ever got to buy was a G37 Infiniti Sport in Athens blue that I named Athena. She was a beauty and no wonder considering her namesake. Athena Yes, I name my cars. Doesn't everyone? So far I've had a Zoe, Athena, Tom, and Giselle. :) What?! I AM a Fan
